ISUZU D-MAX V-CROSS - ONE OF OUR FAVOURITE DOUBLE CAB PICK UP TRUCKS
We decided to test the Lazer Lamps on the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, a high end model that comes with a stunning paint job, black alloy wheels, and a black grille. We equipped the Isuzu with a pair of Lazer Lamps Triple-R 780 lights mounted on the roll bar and a pair of Linear-6 Elite behind the grille on the front bumper. Installation was a breeze; combined, these lights deliver a impressive 22,000 lumens of light, with a beam distance of over 1000 meters. That's enough to blind a bat, or a badger, or whatever else you might come across in the dark.
TIME TO TEST
To see how good these Lazer Lamps lights really are, we took the D-Max V-Cross to a secluded country road, away from any street lights or traffic. We switched on the high beam, and then the Lazer Lamps, and waited for our eyes to adjust.
And then we waited some more. We slowly realised that we could see everything. And we mean everything.
The Lazer Lamps were so powerful that they created a wall of white light that lit up everything in front of us. Through the windows, we could see the road, the trees, the signs, and the animals. Light replaced dark. We could even see the dashboard.
It was like driving into a supernova.
The visibility was also very pleasing, as the Lazer Lamps reflected off every surface and created a beautiful, soft and dramatic effect. They made driving at night more fun, not more stressful.
